El Rabit, The Link, is an independent, self funded literary and artistic project that connects the world with a selected group of writers and visual artists from the Gaza Strip. It is called The Link because it aims to be a bridge between the reader and those who have lived the experience, and between those who remain in Gaza and those who have been scattered away from it.

Each issue gathers short stories, texts, paintings, and visual works in a carefully curated collection that tries to preserve something of Gaza’s memory and carry it to anyone who cares to listen. Volume 1, Issue One features writers Mahmoud Joudeh, Nabil Abadsa, and Hamed Ashour, alongside visual artists Ahmad Al Adawi, Mariam Salah, and Ghaidaa Al Najjar. The volume is compiled and edited by Said Abdalrahim, with creative design and art direction by Mustafa Dahdouh.
